ABPS ABBA

ABC (Anston Breakfast club) was set up in June 2002 by a voluntary committee, made up of
parents, friends and staff of Anston Brook Primary school.

It was developed to meet the needs of the school, parents and children. This project has been
funded by The New Opportunities Fund which has made it possible to offer this service. The Club
is open from 7.45am to 8.45am and is open to a maximum of 30 children from ages 5 to 11.

A well balanced and nutritious breakfast is on offer to the children attending, menus are displayed
with a choice of foods. (Special dietary needs catered for). Following breakfast there are a
number of activities available, appropriate to the age of the child, including, table tennis,
construction, board games and creative pursuits.

At 8.45 the children are escorted to their various points of assembly for the commencement of the
school day.

The aim of the Club ' is to provide the children attending with a stimulating and safe environment,
where they may develop and form a Club which they value and are proud of. This will leave
parents/carers, safe in the knowledge that their children are happy and well cared for.
